My research contributes to the broader understanding of climate adaptation science, theory and practice. By conducting rigorous analyses and developing innovative methodologies, my work adds valuable insights to the existing body of knowledge in climate adaptation. 

This includes advancements in decision-making frameworks and data analysis that can be applied not only to specific communities but also serve as a foundation for further research in the field.

I am particularly interested in investigating climate adaptation trends, the role of innovation, and how we scale actions and benefits in unprecedented ways. 

A lot of my work shapes the discourse around climate adaptation, questions many of the taken-for-granted assumptions and fosters a more comprehensive and nuanced understanding within the academic community.
